2. Lots of writing
3. Opportunities for academic discussion.

Question: Have we gone far enough?
Are there activities in your class that don’t fit in these categories? How can we encourage one another to analyze and modify or eliminate traditional activities that don’t allow students the chance to read, write, and talk?
