During walkthroughs this week, Natalie and I will be looking to give feedback through the lens of English Learners and checking for understanding. Here are the questions we will be considering and sharing with you:
How are English Learners accounted for and participating in the content of the lesson? What support, scaffolds, considerations are they (ELs) provided so that they can equally access the content of the lesson? What strategies are being employed to check for understanding, encourage total participation for the use of academic vocabulary, through full engagement of all students?
